Do you have any advice for dealing with and moving past anger? For the most part I act peaceful and happy, but under the surface I have so much rage boiling. Mostly it is because of the great injustice of the world, but I am also angry at myself, and then I get angry with myself for being angry and not being the person I want to be. At other times my fuse is so short for everyday life. I just want to be at peace. Meditation has helped but I feel it is not enough

Anger is my worst culprit too sometimes, its the fire in the belly linked to the solar plexus and Will power. Being in Control of your self-esteem and your life. Its all about learning to cool down the flames in a creative constructive way and also by realizing the injustice in the world is not your problem to fix. Everything happens for a reason we are both light and dark, so is the world but its also a matter of choice how we wish to see the world as a heaven or hell. Everything is a mirror how you see the world is how you see yourself, do you feel out of control? do you feel lack of will power? Does your self-esteem power your actions? These are all components of learning to heal our Divine Will.
The first is realize the world is not out of control, everything is already in divine order. Life is how you make it, your words influence how you wish to live and see yourself, for everything external is an internal mechanism of the soul.
You also need to Question your Anger, why do i have it to begin with, what started it, what is the source of this anger?
The problem with Anger is it has this total loss of control on our spirit, it makes our thoughts spiral into this illusionary madness. It opens ourselves to a very lower vibrational state because it’s like our will power is gone and we’re on autopilot it’s a flight/fight energy. It’s very ungrounding which is why meditation and stillness brings it to a halt. One trick i have learned is that when you are angry you need to accept it and release it by trying to calm yourself down, think of something positive to bring yourself back up again, happy thoughts calm the spirit. In yoga another thing ihave learned is that it’s good to focus on a mantra or deep breathing, this helps bring us back to our center without thought interference. Also you can learn to channel your anger into a constructive way such as walking or physical activity, something that will help ground you in the process. This is something we have to work on every day, it’s also about positive vs negative thought patterns. The more anger we project the more we feel it within ourselves and around us. There is also a deep sadness that is hidden within anger, sometimes crying or talking about our emotions will help release them. You also want to help yourself by learning about your emotions and how to balance them, this is about mind discipline and Will Power.
A couple of great tools for the solar plexus are Writing Goals down for yourself. This teaches you that you are in control and can accomplish things
