LISTEN TO YO BODYIf you’re finding it hard to only eat healthy foods, take a step back and take baby steps. Our body is the temple of our soul we have to treat it with respect and care. Ahimsa, non-violence towards self and others, meaning you shouldn’t have to feel guilty about eating one chocolate bar instead of an apple. It happens, it’s better to eat in moderation what you enjoy rather than totally deprive yourself completely otherwise you can go on binges. I feel like Moderation and a well-balanced diet is key. I remember when i tried to go Vegan and i was so lost in the grocery store because it’s truly amazing how many things have milk and eggs in them when you’re shopping on a budget (kudos to you Vegans truly <3) . Not to mention it’s very harsh on your body to abruptly switch your diet, it’s best to do it gradually. Who says you have to go gun-ho besides yourself? Listen to your body, don’t ignore your cravings but eat in moderation and all will fall into place.
Everyone’s body is different, so it’s going to be different for everyone. A simple switch of substituting Water for pop or Veggies instead of potato chips can even go a long way. The trick is baby steps, the more you progress the easier it will be and before you know it you won’t even crave sweets or junk food anymore. It’s about a lifestyle shift and naturally it will take time. However you always need to listen to your body, usually what we’re craving is a sign of something we are lacking. I remember Phu giving me this chart, it was something similar to this :http://www.care2.com/greenliving/what-your-cravings-mean.html
