Hi, I just wanted to say I love your blog, it’s very helpful, but I also have a question! I’ve been feeling very disconnected from things and even depressed, could that be because of mercury retrograde? Meditation or any of the things that usually help have not been helping and I’m beginning to get very hopeless. Thanks for the help!

Well it honestly could be a number of things, feeling disconnected/dissociation is a common feeling when going through a spiritual awakening because our vibrations are shifting, the old you and the new conscious duel it out which can result in you feeling disconnected from people, friends, relationships, old things you used to enjoy, 3d habits, etc. When we go through these types of shifts the universe is really telling us to look inward and question ourselves. It’s an inner shift of the mind.
It could also be part of mercury retrograde. Retrogrades have a tendency to get us thinking about our past mistakes, regrets, old wounds we still need to face, and all of this can surface for healing during this time. The good news is this will all pass in time. Try to do things that make you feel better, what do you really enjoy for you? Ask yourself why you feel disconnected and why you are having these feelings to begin with, is it due to something that happened, or a relationship or is it something else entirely?
When we go through dissociation, we need to also see that regardless of feeling disconnected we are ALWAYS connected to people, even if we don’t see it. Your words, thoughts, feelings, they affect others everyday. You have a place in the world just by being you and you should treasure that. 🙂
