How to Manage Your Kundalini Awakening Symptoms

Kundalini awakening is a transformative and deeply spiritual experience, but let’s be honest—it can also be overwhelming. Emotional surges, physical discomfort, psychic phenomena, and even temporary moments of disorientation are all part of the ride. So how do you navigate these experiences without feeling like you’re losing control? Today, we’re diving into how to manage the symptoms of Kundalini awakening, so you can navigate your spiritual journey with ease and empowerment.

Understanding Kundalini Awakening Symptoms

One of the biggest things missing from conversations about Kundalini awakening is how to actually manage the symptoms that arise. Yes, Kundalini can make you feel overwhelmed, emotional, and even a bit out of touch with reality at times. But here’s the thing: you can manage these symptoms. And it all starts with asking better questions and deepening your understanding of energy.

Is Healing the Symptoms impossible?

For some people in the awakening world, they actually have told me, ” this is impossible, you cannot possibly heal your symptoms because you’re going through ‘an ascension process” and then they will justifiably say something like  “Pain and suffering are a part of the transformation process it takes to ascend…”

Regardless, I mainly just see “how to cope” with awakening. 

one thing I don’t see talked about way enough is how do you manage & heal your ascension symptoms?

What do you do with the symptoms?!

Now, when it comes to looking at Kundalini in the beginning, It can make you feel….crazy.

overwhelmed.

You can have lots of emotional overwhelm. You can have all sorts of different symptoms. But here’s the thing. When it comes to looking at these symptoms, are we asking ourselves better questions?

Such as,

Why are they coming up for us?

Do certain symptoms have a purpose and reason for showing up in our body?

What do we do when we have more STRANGE or Otherworldly symptoms appear in our lives?

What can we do besides freak out, have an anxiety attack about nothing or simply…learn to understand our awakening journey better.

Common Kundalini Awakening Symptoms and How to Manage Them

Let’s get into the practical side of things. Managing your Kundalini symptoms is possible when you understand what’s happening beneath the surface. Here are some of the most common symptoms and how you can navigate them:

1. Temporary Psychic Phenomena

One of the first symptoms many people experience is temporary psychic phenomena—whether it’s heightened intuition, synchronicities, or even visions. If this happens, don’t freak out! This is a sign that your intuitive gifts are awakening.

The best thing you can do in these moments is to strengthen your intuition, like a muscle. The more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes. Start paying attention to these psychic insights, write them down, and honor the guidance you’re receiving.

2. Past Life Experiences

Another common Kundalini symptom is tapping into past life experiences or feeling a sense of déjà vu that’s hard to explain. This is your subconscious clearing old energies. Instead of getting stuck in the idea of “Who was I?”—use these moments as an opportunity to process and release. Let the past stay in the past. Your focus should be on healing and moving forward.

3. Receiving Downloads

Have you ever experienced a sudden flash of insight, an epiphany so clear that it feels like a mental “Aha!” moment? This is known as receiving a download. When you get a download, it’s vital to write it down or record it on your phone immediately. These insights are gifts from your higher self, guiding you toward your next aligned action.

4. Kundalini Kriyas (Spontaneous Movements)

A Kundalini Kriya is an involuntary movement, often a form of shaking or jerking, that happens as your body releases built-up energy. While it may feel unsettling at first, it’s actually a powerful release mechanism. To manage this, focus on your breath—pranayama breathing through the nose—and incorporate more mindful movement, like yoga or walking, into your daily routine.

5. Emotional and Mental Shifts
