Random Synchronicity Symbolism: Story time 🙂 So I have a tendency to drink a lot not alcohol but just beverages in general mainly because i’m still breastfeeding. You feel like a fish when you’re breastfeeding i swear… Anyway the other day i was clearing the table and i noticed that for whatever reason I had five glasses on the table each one lined up perfectly together in a square with a coffee cup inside of the square. Strangely each glass was different too, one was water, one was juice, one was coffee, one was milk and one was empty. Because i am a weird sacred geometry/symbolism freak, i instantly knew it had to mean something because who just accidentally aligns their drinking glasses in a perfect parallel square,it was strange, intuition kicked into gear. At the time i shrugged it off though, until this morning when i had to grab Godric off of the Bathroom floor and noticed the tiles are the same way! Four points within a square, so then it triggered something in my subconscious that i need to find out what this symbol is…
I did a little googling literally something like “square with five points” and BAM.
It’s an Ancient Alchemy symbol called the Quincunx, now how did my subconscious know what this was before I consciously did?! This is how crazy my world is 🙂 What’s even better is the description of the symbol. So i had to share this story to show symbols really do rule our lives…
An arrangement of five figures within a square. Historically, it has infused the worlds of nature, man and the stars. As an ancient alchemy symbol, it represents the whole being more than the sum of its parts. In the alchemical mineral world, the quincunx occurs in the formation of metals, in atomic structures. Additionally the quincunx represents (wo)man’s ability to cross from four to five his/her nature. Meaning we all possess the four levels of physical matter (stone, plant, animal, man) and we are able to ascend from these four elements to the final fifth – which is godlike or enlightened stature.
According to Carl Jung the quincunx is a symbol of the quinta essentia, which is identical with the Philosopher’s Stone or turning base metals into gold. It is also a symbol of the Self. all elements combined with Spirit/Soul.
What this made me think of was the concept of Dimensions and Alchemy of Spirit, Transforming Carbon into Crystalline. 4d into 5d. Connecting the 4 into the Whole-ONE-UNITY. The Multiverse.
If anyone knows more on this symbol i’d love to hear it 🙂
