Well it’s that time of year again, we are on the winds of transition as we are only days away from ending summer and embracing the Autumn Equinox on the 23rd of September. Since there are all these crazy astrological dates in the air especially Mercury Retrograde, the subconscious is much stronger than normal which means manifestation is much more powerful. Be careful what you wish for at this time as I’ve noticed what we think these days only takes a few days time to manifest into reality. However with that being said I’ve been getting drawn to the gratitude challenge again. It helped my family so much in the past and I’m really being drawn to do it again but this time I want to build the momentum even stronger. The more people who do it the better because this movement awakens positive change and a positive outlook on life. I think we all need that with all these feisty energy shifts going on and what better way to stir the pot than expressing gratitude!
This challenge although it is simple and sometimes borderline cheesy (magic dust everyone lol) Its powerful when utilized correctly and if we boost the momentum we can take it further than last time, I’m certain of it. I am still seeing the benefits of the practices within my life daily. It helped us find an apartment and the supplies we needed to prosper in our new home. Around the holidays we were struggling and we received a free Christmas tree, a free Turkey, ornaments from my mom and all this other stuff you wouldn’t even think twice about was suddenly just given to us to have a beautiful Christmas despite our financial trouble. Im very thankful for the kindness of people. It helped me have better relationships with my family and it also even helped me lose weight!
So I definitely believe the power and belief of our thoughts can go a long way if we embrace it into our lifestyle. The beauty of the movement is it not only inspires you but it elevates your mood and outlook on life, instead of dreading the day you find there is something to be grateful for each day and that is the true magic. Magical Days of Gratitude: 28 Days of Gratitude Challenge
Have you ever struggled at something whether it’s looking for a job, a good relationship, being successful, being healthy, needing money, losing weight, etc. Have you ever thought it may not just be a physical issue but a mental one instead? This is where the gratitude challenge comes in!
This is a movement I did on my blog last year with a huge group of people and a beautiful success rate happened over the course of 28 days. I feel like it’s a good time to do it again with all these crazy astrological dates in the air. If anything it teaches you not only the power of gratitude but also the power of positive thinking!
The trick to the practice is two things: DISCIPLINE. taking 5-10 minutes of your time to do each exercise each day. If you can scroll Facebook or watch an episode of tv then you can do this practice as part of your day. It’s so easy. Also if you do the practice each day you build the momentum of it growing stronger within your own life. BELIEF. You need to believe in yourself and trust the universe by being grateful each day that’s when the magic happens 😉
The 28 days of gratitude challenge is a concept based around from the book The Magic by Rhonda Bryne where you use exercises of gratitude generated around the Law of Attraction ( like attracts like, what you put out into the universe is what you get back). All credit for this challenge goes to her and her book. You are welcome to get the book if you wish to stay on top of things or you can just wait for the posts.
I will use a few days to gather people and then we will start on Sunday.
Understanding The Magic
“Remember when you were a child and you looked at life in total wonder and awe? Life was magical and exciting, and the smallest things were utterly thrilling to you. You were fascinated by the frost on the grass, a butterfly flittering through the air, or any strange leaf or rock on the ground. You were full of excitement when you lost a tooth, because it meant the Tooth Fairy would be coming that night, and you would count down the days to that magical night of Christmas! Even though you had no idea how Santa Claus could get to every child in the world in one night, somehow he did it, and he never let you down.
Reindeer could fly, there were fairies in the garden, pets were like people, toys had personalities, dreams came true, and you could touch the stars. Your heart was full of joy, your imagination knew no limits, and you believed that life was magical! There is an exquisite feeling many of us had as children, that everything is good, that every day promises more excitement and adventure, and that nothing could ever thwart our joy for the magic of it all. But somehow as we grew into adults, responsibilities, problems, and difficulties took their toll on us, we became disillusioned, and the magic we once believed in as children faded and disappeared. It’s one of the reasons why as adults we love to be around children, so that we can experience that feeling we once had, even if it’s just for a moment.
I am here to tell you that the magic you once believed in is true, and it’s the disillusioned adult perspective of life that is false. The magic of life is real – and it’s as real as you are. In fact, life can be far more wondrous than you ever thought it was as a child, and more breathtaking, awe-inspiring, and exciting than anything you’ve seen before. When you know what to do to bring forth the magic, you will live the life of your dreams. Then, you will wonder how you ever could have given up in believing in the magic of life. You may not see reindeer fly, but you will see the things you’ve always wanted appearing before your eyes, and you will see the things you’ve dreamed of for so long suddenly happening. You will never know exactly how everything weaved together for your dreams to come true, because magic works in the invisible realm – and that’s the most thrilling part! Are you ready to experience the magic again?”

The concept of the book is based around how Rhonda discovered an ancient scripture in the Gospel of Matthew that states:
“Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. whoever does not have, even what she or he has will be taken from him or her.”
Through her own discovery she found that the answer to this complex scripture is by truthfully expressing Gratitude in all shapes and forms.
“Whoever has gratitude will be given more, and he will have an abundance. whoever does not have gratitude, even what he or she has will be taken from him or her.”
“Gratitude operates through a Universal law that governs your whole. life. According to the law of the attraction, which governs all the energy in our Universe, from the formation of an atom to the movement of the planets, “like attracts like”. It’s because of the law of attraction that the cells of every living creature are held together, as well as the substance of every material object. In your life, the law operates on your thoughts and feelings because they are energy too and so whatever you think, whatever you feel you attract to you.“
To add my own Spiritual Thoughts to this: The mind is the nexus, the encyclopedia of our direction of choices we will to manifest by our intentions into reality. The power of Thought is about our belief and intentions we use to fuel the energy into being which manifests into reality. It’s the power of our beliefs. If you don’t believe, it will create a barrier but when we believe it creates a door, an opening to help channel that energy through. We are the creators of our thoughts, the Masters of Communication between our ideas and our beliefs.
The power is in the thought, the thought powers the idea, the idea is powered by the intention and the intention is powered into being by energy.
“Magick is not something you see it is something you feel”
So when we think of expressing gratitude or not expressing gratitude it comes down to our intentions behind the idea of the symbol we’re placing on the energy.
- Feeling grateful vs feeling ungrateful
- Positive manifestation vs. negative manifestation
- I love my job ~ I hate my job
- My family is supportive ~ My family never communicates
- Money helps support me/myfamily ~ I never have enough money
- I enjoy my life ~ my life is a mess
- I love my spouse – I cannot stand to be around my spouse
- I had fun this week ~ this weekend sucked and went too fast
This all comes down to our intentions. Our gratitude or lack of gratitude is magnetic to how we see reality. What we think we become.
Newton’s fundamental laws of motion in the Universe:
“Every action always has an opposite and equal reaction.”
“when you apply the idea of gratitude to Newton’s law it says: every action of giving thanks causes an opposite reaction of receiving. And what you receive will always be equal to the amount of gratitude you’ve given. This means the very action of gratitude sets off a reaction of receiving and the more sincerely and the more deeply grateful you feel(in other words the more gratitude you give) the more you will receive”
Is your Life magical?
You can tell right now how much you have actually used gratitude in your life. Just take a look at all of the major ares in your life: money, healthy, happiness, career, home, and relationships. The areas of your life that are abundant and wonderful are where you have used gratitude and are experiencing the magic as a result. Any areas that are not abundant and wonderful are due to a lack of gratitude.
To receive you have to give. it’s the law. Gratitude is giving thanks and without it you cut yourself off from the magic…the bottom line of ungratefulness is that when we’re not grateful, we’re taking; we’re taking things in our life for granted. when we take things for granted we are unintentionally taking from ourselves.
Of course we have all naturally been grateful or ungrateful in one point of our life or another. However to see the magic and cause a radical change to your current circumstances, you have to practice gratitude and make it your new way of life.
The Magic Formula of Change
Deliberately think and say the Magic words: Thank you
The more you deliberately think and say the magic words, thank you, the more gratitude you feel! The more gratitude you deliberately think and feel, the more abundance you receive!
Abundance doesn’t always mean money, Abundance means stability and security. This could be spiritual abundance, financial security, abundant in your relationships, abundant in your health, abundant in your home. Abundance also refers to having plenty of time, ideas, confidence, love and every other positive condition you can imagine. When you tap into the flow of abundance, it arrives in every color of the rainbow. As co-creators everything is naturally abundant and we are constantly creating new forms of abundance. It is now time to start manifesting our dreams into reality.
What Are Your Dreams?
The practice will consistent of 28 consecutive days where you will learn how to use gratitude’s magical power to revolutionize your health, money, job, happiness and relationships. And to help your smallest desires to even your biggest dreams come true. You can also learn to practice gratitude to dissolve problems and transform negative situations.
“The first twelve practices use the magical power of gratitude for what you have now and for what you’ve received in the past, because unless you’re grateful for what you have, and what you’ve received, the magic won’t work and you won’t receive more. These first twelve practices will set the magic of gratitude into motion immediately. The next ten practices use the magical power of gratitude for your desires, dreams, and everything you want. Through these ten practices you will be able to make your dreams come true, and you will see the circumstances of your life magically change!”

The idea is if you don’t practice it yourself how can you learn it and create it into your reality?
“Without practicing what you learn, the knowledge will slip through your fingers and the opportunity that you attracted to easily change your life will be gone. To ensure this doesn’t happen to you, you need to practice gratitude over 28 days so that you impregnate your cells and your subconscious mind with it. Only then will it change your life – permanently”
Now the fun part, What are your Dreams?
Many of the Magical practices are designed to help you achieve your dreams so over the weekend, think about it clearly what you would like to manifest into your reality.
Sit down with a notebook/pen or write on tumblr if you so wish and make a list of what you really want to manifest in every area of your life. Be very detailed and precise about what you wish to achieve. Think of this as a List of Goals of Manifestation. For example If you want a better job, write down the details of what you would want to do, if you want a perfect partner, write down every detail of the characteristics you want in that person. If you want to improve a relationship, write down the relationships you want to improve, and what you want them to be. Don’t worry about how things will manifest. (that’s the Universe’s job 😉 ) Gratitude will work it’s magic.

When you get clear about the things you want, you are giving a definite direction to the way you want gratitude’s magical power to change your life.
Reminder: if you miss a day, you will most likely lose the momentum of what you have done. To ensure that you don’t reduce the magic, if you miss a day, count back three days and repeat the practices again from there.
Some practices are for the morning and others are designed to be done throughout the day, so read what I post the first thing in the morning. Some practices will need to be read the night before because they begin when you wake up, so i will try to post those the night before.(we will just do this day by day and see how it goes)
After the 28 days, you can use particular practices to increase the magic where or when you have a specific need.
The Magical Power of Gratitude can transform your life in all sorts of ways but first it starts with you.
