What Crystal is this?

Hey! I’m new crystals and got this one at a local store, but none of them were labelled so I just picked one. Do you have any idea what the name of this crystal is, or what it can do? I’m not 100% sure but i’m pretty certain this is Amethyst and you’re right it does correspond to the crown chakra! It also helps the third eye and sometimes even the heart chakra.
