I’ve always been a firm believer in magic, the craft, and the principles, especially the threefold law. I think there is actually a lot of truth within Paganism and Wicca. I used to be a wiccan before i awakened so i’ve always been fond of their work and the work of the Goddess. Paganism is associated with our Roots and origins of our ancestors. Centuries ago before the catholic church got involved, it was paganism that was more common and ancient rituals were practiced to help with their crops, heal the sick, etc. These beliefs are nothing new they date back centuries into our past. I think the way they worship the Mother Goddess is deeply respectable and is more connected with our divine origins.
It could be said i am more pagan than i am christian although i do believe in Jesus. I consider myself a Pantheist.
If you look into Wiccan books you will find a lot of similarities with the same practices that people who go through spiritual awakening, such as astral projection, trance, shamanism, crystals, channeling, visiting the akashic, pathworking, i mean if you’re looking for basics i always say just start reading some wiccan books because they are loaded with information that underlines Awakening.
My only beef with wicca is I just feel wiccan rituals are really convoluted at times especially their spell work. I feel some things are a bit unnecessary like do i really need 10 bay leafs, a picture, a candle, a few drops of essential oil and an offering bowl just to enable prosperity into my life? Probably not. You can easily do spells with the law of attraction and affirmations amongst a few other things. There is also a lot of fear within wicca, they deal with bad spirits, negative entities, and even demons. I don’t get into that and i think it’s unnecessary when in actuality it’s just aspects of your consciousness/subconscious through the law of attraction. Spell work does not need to be THAT complicated. I’m moreso into alchemy and hermeticism but the occult always has a soft place in my heart due to my past as a high priestess, the core of the mystery schools. I believe in prophecy, magic, the otherworlds so naturally i believe there is a lot of truth within paganism and Wicca. It’s also a fun way to worship mother earth. I plan on having a hand-fasting for my wedding 🙂
